Fermentation Fridays at the Cannery Trade Centre!

It’s a thing! Every Friday from 2-6 Dana Ewart supplies avid bread-lovers with her fresh-baked sourdough loaves (order online before Wednesday at 4: Grist Microbaker). Pick up is a secret back-room bakery, behind One14 Coffee Co.

Also every Friday the crafty brewmeisters at Tin Whistle Brewing, just down the hall in unit 118, put together an experimental brew that is only available on tap, and only until it’s all gone! No pressure, but the experimental beer is always excellent and often surprising.

Here at 4th Meridian Art & Vintage we have a sweet selection of cookbooks and culinary memoirs, and we have now added some choice Fermentation books — sourdough culture, kombucha, beer and wine. Fun to browse, great for gifting.

Cannery Trade Centre, our original home base.

We are open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11 - 4.

The winter is cozy! The Cannery Trade Centre is hopping with new businesses featuring coffee at One14 Coffee Co, baked goods in the same location made by Handful Of, amazing beer at The Tin Whistle Brewery, plus many events and artists at Donut House Studios, and even more shopping!

Visit us for: pottery, glassware, greeting cards, framed vintage art prints, original fine art, hand-poured candles, and BOOKS about food, food memoirs and food travel. Plus many vintage curiosities and useful items to accent your interior spaces.

Gift certificates! Any denomination, and we’ll mail it anywhere on your behalf. Valid at both of our locations, Cannery Trade Centre year-round, and Naramata March through to October.

We are honoured to have provided artwork for a fantastic new restaurant in Penticton!

Palmer Steakhouse Casual is highly recommended both for exceptional food and outstanding service. Find them in the newly opened Four Points by Sheraton, by the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre at the north entrance to the city from Highway 97.

Exhibition of Jack Shadbolt silkscreens along with Artists Jazz Band prints, all on display at the new Palmer restaurant. Click here (or the images at left) to view more!

Take a look inside the Palmer Steakhouse Casual in this recent video on Castanet. Nice shots of the fabulous artwork!
