Petite amphora raku vase Robin Righton

CA$225.00

Robin Righton was born in Kimberley, BC in 1947 and passed away in Victoria, BC in 1999. He attended the Kootenay School of Art in Nelson 1968-1971 and went on to establish Swan Lake Pottery in Victoria where he potted for 27 years. He exhibited his stoneware vases in Faenza, Italy, and later in Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria and was included in the 25th anniversary exhibition of the Potter’s Guild of BC.

This shimmering raku amphora has playful dots around its top and the glaze around the base appears to shift colour as it is moved.

4.5” high and 5” arm to arm.
