France 1867 Cloth Embroidered Buttons Victorian New Deadstock
French Victorian new deadstock, hand embroidered buttons still attached to the original card.
32 buttons in total (the card would have held 36). All are in excellent condition.
Each features a hexagon of black embroidered over red, white and yellow spokes, over a shiny blue body. Gorgeous and very unique.
The card is illustrated with the emblem of the Paris 1867 National Exhibition and shows both sides of the medals that were issued featuring the portrait of Emperor Napoleon III (1852-1870).
Each button is 5/8" diameter, the card is 9" x 4"
