Kitchen Cotton Towel Hand Printed Vintage Wood Type COFFEE?

CA$22.00

From a small collection of vintage woodblock letterpress type, we decided to hand stamp fun words onto new lint-free 100% cotton flour sack kitchen towels. This one is: COFFEE?

Each is 27" x 27", pre-washed and ironed.

Hand printed words using vintage woodblock type. The printing process is manual, the inks mixed and rolled, then the words are heat set with ironing after the ink has dried.

The letters in this series are 2" high.

While we recommend washing in cold and hanging to dry, go ahead and use your towels any way you wish. Ironing will keep them looking smart, but it's not necessary; we need to use our stuff! Washing will just make this towel softer and softer.

Since we are missing some letters our lexicon is limited. However, if you would like a custom towel (or several) please send a note and we will do our best to fulfill your word dreams.

Each towel is printed individually by hand, letter by letter, and will have different texture and colouration. You may expect a dot or drip of ink that escaped the printing block. The effect of the wood will be different letter by letter as well. The towel you receive may not be exactly as pictured.

Listing is for one kitchen towel, letter type blocks are pictured to show you our process and they are not for sale.
